No it's not necessary if you visiting any ayurveda doctor then panchkarma is required it totally depends on the disease and disorders you haven.if internal medication is sufficient enough you dn need panchkarma that is the shodhan chikitsa.
Depends on for what problem you are visiting. Some can be corrected only by diet and lifestyle changes, some by medicines, and some other times may need treatments also.Panchakarma may be required in some conditions.
