Is my wound infected?
I cut part of my nail off and some skin with a knife. I washed it, it bled a lot, plastered it. Next day the plaster felt like it was really tight so removed it, washed it, replastered it. Woke up in pain with the plaster feeling tight and painful and it smelt. Removed it and applied savlon and i think the smell went, it may have been just from sweating last night. So all day ive had it open, and ive looked just now and it is now dry and dark yellow and very painful again. Is it infected??
