Is my weight gain healthy?
I am 159cm tall and was having 58.5 kg weight when I got pregnant. Now I am on my 16th week of pregnancy and so far I have gained only 1.5 -2 kilograms. During the first trimester I gained 1 kg and in my 4th month, as of now I have only gained 0.5 kg to 0.8 kg. Is it normal? Or should I be gaining more at this point?

You have gained more than most people. In pregnancy in the first month there is no gain in weight. In second month you lose about half kg. In third month you gain half kg. So at the end of three months you are at pre- pregnancy weight. After that, from 4th month you start gaining weight.

During first 3months of pregnancy, there will not be any wt gain due to Nausea and vomiting. Wt gain is usually after 4th month of pregnancy. Gaining more wt in pregnancy also leads to complications. So eat healthy food rich in protein, avoid junk food and take iron and calcium supplements. That will do
