Is Lumacip plus safe,it contains steroid

Can I use Lumacip plus on acne scars? Is it safe to use as it contains steroid? I've dark acne scars on my skin. I have thin skin and hyperthyroidism. What are the side effects? I apply it at night followed by sunscreen and moisturiser in the day.
