Is it stress or what?
I have a normal lifestyle. I keep myself busy with work or household chores so I don't get the time to have negative thoughts but it appears I often get suicidal thoughts and feel like ending my life. I am a cheerful person. I always smile and keep things easy going but these negative thoughts are making my life a living hell. I tried to talk about it with a friend but I was unable to do so. My brother has noticed that I'm not happy and cheerful I was earlier. I even don't know what is wrong with me.

Hi... There might be something bothering you inside which is not present in your immediate awareness. Our conscious mind is only 5%, subconscious mind is 15%, and unconscious mind is 80%. Possibly, there is something that you have repressed long back from your conscious mind, which is now surfacing in your subconscious or unconscious mind. Psychotherapy/Counselling will help you overcome this condition and get your repressed issues an exit.
