Is it ok to give drinking water to newborn.
My baby boy is 3months of age now. He is suffering from cold also mouth thrush..
Is it happening because of summer or anything else.

Water is not recommended below 6 months of age..mothers milk has sufficient amount of water in it.. Avoid formula feeding and also feeding with bottle.. you can put Normal saline nose drops in the nostrils if there is cold and use clotrimazole mouth paint if there is definitive evidence of oral thrush..not due to summer..
Avoid giving anything to baby other than mother's milk and prescribed multivitamins for the first 6 mo of life..
You can use candid mouth paint for the thrush. Also make sure mother doesn't have cracked nipples. Clean oral cavity with a damp towel after feeds
