Is it necessary to take covid test
My father had fever on may 4th we went to hospital on 9th his fever is 100.5F so doctor prescribed blood test since he didn't have any other covid symptoms.platelets everything were normal and in wild test O&H antigen are 1:80 so he prescribed some injections to relieve from fever that day his body temp is normal and he is active with no fever for next 2 days. again after 2 days he is getting fever on night times today he is very weak but his taste and smell are good .Is this a symptoms of covid please let me know.we have not done corona test to him do we need to worry about it.

Unless and untill proved ,doctors recently considering every fever case as covid only...other probable causes are to be ruled out..so better get tested for covid...so appropriate treatment can be given at right time
