Is it advisable to postpone periods?

Hi Sir/Mam, Im a 30yr old married woman. My husband and I decided that we start planning for baby by the end of 2021. My periods are due this month and falls on the same day of my sisters wedding. Is it advisable for me use pills to postpone periods? Does using these pills have any effect on pregnancy? Please reply to my concern.
