Doctor, my age 25 , unmarried , regular periods my October ultrasound showed a septated cystic lesion in the left adnexa measuring about 72 × 67 mm. Later, MRI showed a lobulated tubular cystic lesion arising from the left fallopian tube measuring approximately 7.9 × 7.4 × 5.2 cm, and the impression was haematosalpinx.
My recent ultrasound dated 22 December shows a tubular cystic lesion in the left adnexa extending to the midline measuring 81 × 56 × 78 mm, reported as likely hydrosalpinx.
The size seems essentially stable, and the contents appear to have changed from blood to mostly fluid. My pain is present cyclical, worse around mid-cycle, Given this stability, can we continue observation for now, or do you recommend surgery at this stage?”
