Is Anti depprasant withdrawal possible?
Hi, My name is Fazal. I am 26 years old. I have been taking anti depprasant (Escitalopram 15mg) for several years. Medication had helped me to feel better and calm. Though I have some side effects like weight gain, extreme drowsiness and low libido. Is it possible to reduce the antidepprasant for the withdrawal? Will it effect my mood and clamness after withdrawing from escitalopram?

Yes it is possible to taper off and then withdraw the medicine. If mood changes relapse then I use Homoeopathic medicines and psychotherapy to treat the underlying depression and/or anxiety. The side effects wear off once the drug is tapered off. Some lifestyle changes are needed though.
