Irritation in throat/tonsils

Asked for Male, 22 Years

Last night, I was sleeping directly under the AC. I was getting affected by the cold air gushing out of it. In the morning when I woke up, I was feeling irritation in throat. It is itchy but no cough is involved. Although there is no fever involved, I am getting the feeling. Usually with me, fever is preceded by the same condition. I anticipate that I may catch up with high temperature in few days.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Nothing to worry. Just do warm salt water gargles thrice a day. Avoid oily and spicy foods. Have a soft diet. Drink lukewarm water. You will be fine in a day or two. If it still persists, revert back and i shall prescribe you. Best regards.
