My mom is 56 years old. She is anemic. Doctor told 8f u need immediate remedy u, must take 2 bottles of blood. Else he will prescribe tonic and tablets which will take time. She is weak n tired for the past one month. Also she tells she's not hungry and everything tastes bitter. Is it OK for her to take immediate remedy of 2 bottles of blood?, pls tell

Sever anemia with Hb less than 7 she will need transfusion... More than 7 injectables iron, more than 10 tablets...
Taste change, bitterness is unrelated to anemia...taste and smell change is one of the symptom of covid ..
