Iron deficiency
Hi, my one year old baby is having an iron deficiency. His haemoglobin is 10.8. His head circumference measured by a baby doctor 2 months ago is 48cm. Please tell me what to do for his head Does he need a vitamin d supplement?  He was given bifolate syrup and alfer syrup by the doctor one week ago. Two months ago another doctor also gave him some multivitamin, iron syrup and a 15 ml bottle of vitamin d (800). I am giving him a good diet 3 times cowmilk (100 ml each time)plus breast feed and home cooked food

Iron and vitamin D deficiency are very common in kids. So continue the daily supplements. Weight and height and exact age in months is needed to comment. Please visit a pediatrician for check up and detailed assessment
