Intusive thoughts
Over the past 3 months I had panic attacks with dizziness, chest pain, fear of death. Consulted ENT, Ayurvedic, Cardiologist, then Gastroenterologist. Endoscopy showed GERD, LPR, H. pylori. Anxiety reduced after diagnosis but intrusive thoughts began (vivid dreams/images of harming self/others, "what if" scenarios). No intent, but distressing. Physical symptoms: chest pain, right-side neck/ear pain, one-sided head pain, fatigue, numbness, detached feeling. Labs: Vitamin D very low (14.99 ng/mL), calcium 9.9, B12 injections ongoing. Medications: Nexito 5 mg (vivid dreams), Paroxetine ER 12.5 mg + Peelar 20 mg (worsened stomach), Magnesium glycinate (helped briefly, reduced intrusive thoughts last 2 days). Quit smoking/drinking 3 months ago. Anxiety fluctuates; stress/news/work trigger panic (latest after office fight). Still working but fear losing control. Financial strain from repeated visits. need guidance on which dr to visit further need more help

Only b12 is not enough in your case. You need some more nutritional support as well. However,  first start with HAIP DIET and then seek consultation.  Once you are on the diet you can seek additional discount on the consultation pa ckage . Also start HAIP Aphrodisiac Rasayana Cheela twice in a day, Anti anxiety Tea and Brain Support Juice in the morning mentioned in HAIP DIET Cookbook.

“Your symptoms suggest a combination of anxiety/panic disorder with intrusive thoughts, along with GERD/LPR and nutritional deficiencies (low Vitamin D, B12). You have already done the right evaluations. Now the priority is a structured approach under a Psychiatrist (for anxiety, panic and intrusive thoughts) along with Gastroenterologist follow-up for GERD. These thoughts are distressing but not dangerous when there is no intent. Avoid changing medicines on your own. Please consult me so I can help coordinate a holistic plan for mind–gut balance and recovery.”

Namastey What you’re experiencing fits a pattern of panic/anxiety with intrusive thoughts (often called harm-type OCD features) layered over gut issues like Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and Helicobacter pylori infection. The key point: intrusive thoughts are not intentions—they are unwanted, anxiety-driven thoughts, and the distress you feel about them actually shows your values are intact. Your physical symptoms (chest pain, dizziness, numbness, detachment) are very common in panic states and can be intensified by reflux and low nutrients. Medication-wise, you’ve tried SSRIs (Escitalopram / Paroxetine), but side effects and gastric sensitivity are an issue—this needs fine-tuning, not stopping abruptly. Low Vitamin D and borderline reserves can also worsen fatigue and mood. At this stage, the right specialist to continue with a clinical psychologist, Counsellor (for therapy like CBT/ERP); this combination gives the best results. Cases especially like yours are significantly well managed and also treated with Counselling sessions.
Next Steps
Instead of consulting multiple specialties again, streamline your care: trust and stay consistent, connect us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5; for detailed Counselling, detailed history, assessment and proper treatment and care. We can provide you with your individualized Ayurveda and Panchakarma treatment healing the root cause itself.
Health Tips
Your system is in a sensitized state, so healing will come from consistency, not quick fixes. Keep a steady routine—regular meals (gut-friendly, non-spicy), fixed sleep timing, and limited exposure to triggering news or conflict. When intrusive thoughts come, don’t fight or analyze them—label them gently as “just thoughts” and let them pass, like clouds; this reduces their power over time. Simple grounding techniques (slow breathing, holding something cold, focusing on surroundings) can quickly calm panic waves. You’ve already taken strong steps—quitting smoking and alcohol is huge—now it’s about gradual nervous system reset. Thank You
