Intestinal obstruction
My father age 45 is feeling pain in his lower abdomen for quite sometime we have admitted him to a hospital and now his treatment is going on a ct scan is also done kindly let me know is this something serious.

No exact opinion is possible regarding treatment on basis of CT only, patient's clinical condition and investigation r necessary for any opinion, best person is treating surgeon , on basis of CT, searching for treatment options will make you confuse,

The CT scan shows sealed perforation
Now the further decision depends entirely upon the vital signs of your father.
If he is stable vitally, then as the collections are small and it is a sealed perforation ( meaning the peritonitis caused by the perforation is localised ) , there is no need to get operated. He 'can' be managed conservatively and monitored. If he deteriorates in this course of management then he will need operation
The intestinal obstruction shown in CT scan is secondary to the perforation which caused ileus to the intestine
If he has unstable vitals then he should get operated immediately
