Intermittent Fever and fatigue
I recently met with an accident that caused scrapping of skin on shin at multiple places. I took some painkillers and Bactrim DS but after a day or two I got a fever and severe weakness. I saw a doctor to get a tetanus shot and prescribed antibiotics but it caused allergic reaction so had to stop the antibiotics. Nevertheless the fever subsided in few days but since them I've been getting intermittent fevers ranging between 99.9 to 101 F and occasional chills. Taking Bactrim DS seems to help but if I don't take it, I get these fevers. Currently, I'm dealing with weakness and fatigue. Also, my apartment was flooded recently to almost the knee level and had to spend a lot of time dealing with the water logging and it's aftermath. I'm wondering if it has to do something with this. In short, first water logging then accident then severe fever and now intermittent low grade fever. Hoping to get some advice.
