My friend's dual marker test for down syndrome has an intermediate risk of 1:725 and NT scans are normal.
Tests are done during the 12th week of pregnancy.
What are the chances of a healthy baby with the above risk ?

Chances of a healthy baby are very high. Please get the triple marker test done after 3 weeks. If it shows high risk then the patient should go for NIPT.
Better to go for NIPT. NIPT is still a screening test but it has a very high sensitivity. If it's negative u could be assured that baby is not affected. One baby out of 725 will have downs syndrome according to reports
Nipt is also a screening test
Confirmatory test is amniocentesis.
In all circumstances whatever the risk maybe, chances of having a healthy baby are always higher . So let her undergo confirmatory testing by amniocentesis.
