Hi,
Ive chaffed my inner thighs while running - due to sweat and the heat.
The skin has now become red, rough (there are little bumps) and is peeling.
while it is improving - it is itching and has become very dark (purplish)
Please suggest what I can do.

Please see a qualified deramtologist near you. A mild TCS based cream with antifungal may be suitable for application twice daily for 2 weeks.
Keep the area cool / some icing would help in reducing burning sensation - make sure you dry it - dab dry - after icing the area.
