After taking an iv there always be a cotton ready to put after injection . If this cotton piece was put on contaminated surface with any type of virus is there a chance for infection ?

Hi Most of the times when u take an IV injection they clean with spirit to get rid of bacteria over the skin. Yes there can be a chance to get infected when u use a infected cotton but it is very minimal risk don't worry.
