Infected wound on ankle

Asked for Male, 32 Years

Took a chunk off my ankle 3 days ago and it got infected, the surface infection doesn't appear to be improving even though I'm on antibiotics. Should I be concerned the infection may be deeper and potentially spreading? I have had some unusual feelings in my leg but quite honestly that could be my mind playing tricks on me
