Infected Ear Piercing

I pierced my ear myself, i took the earring out and the hole is a green/black substance in it. I tried cleaning it and the color didn’t change. it really hurts and feels stiff. i don’t know what to do or how to treat it.

The ear piercing is very common procedure in India but sadly it's done by jewelers or the quacks or by self and in such cases sterility can not be maintained... Any piercing may be nose or ear or somewhere else most Important thing is the sterility... The second important thing is not to wear artificial jewellery right after the piercing, one can have infection with that too... Remove the earring wash it with soap and lots of water, use some disinfectant too... And visit an ENT doctor if the problem persists or increases...
