Hi
For diabetes generally all Low GI based foods are good..
Include complex carbs in diet with limited portions, moderate high biological value plant based proteins, low fat or low fat dairy products, mostly home cooked foods, small frequent mini meals, allowed fruits for diabetics are apples, pears, all citrus fruits, guavas, watermelon, pomogranate, kiwi, semi ripe pappaya, grapes etc..
Can consume nuts of almonds and walnuts, plain pista ( without salted) , seeds, high fiber foods, enough water intake per day around 8 to 10 glasses, unstrained fruit juices, no sugar, jaggery , honey, or any sweet based dishes, no large amount of food intake at one time, no to sedentary kind of lifestyle..
Since diabetes is a metabolic disease as that occurs due to imbalances in metabolism ...
Healthy lifestyle modifications is recommended... like exercises both morning and evening, brisk walking for 30 mins daily, yoga, surya namaskar or any types of stretching exercises...or bodily movements are strictly advised..
