At home (New York) I have fairly dry skin and hair and I can go quite a while between washes without my hair appearing oily. Every time I return to Baltimore for college, however, all of a sudden my hair is in need of much more frequent washing and I even have worse body odor, which at home isn't an issue for me. Could it be the air or water here that is causing this? I'm from a fairly rural town without chlorinated water, so maybe city water is to blame?

Greetings. I am from India and unaware of weather conditions in Baltimore. But humid weather could cause these issues. Try using a ketoconazole based shampoo. Should help. Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal, Bengaluru.
