Increase knee pain & fever -osteoporosis
Hello, My mom is 58yrs and is having osteoporosis. Since few days she is having increase in knee pain and also her temp is always above 99. (For eg. On 1st june it was 100.4, 5th june was 99.2, and 7th june it is 99.4) Fyi- she had covishield vaccine on 29th may. Before vaccine also, her temp use to raise upto 99.7 when she had pain, but that was twice or thrice a month or whenever she exerted a lot. Her recent report as attached.

Need to examine the knee and an x ray of the knee ( full weight bearing AP view) Probably it's an exacerbation of osteoarthritis. CRP levels are raised.

Get the x ray done and then consult

Avoid squatting, cross leg or palthi position. Always use a chair or a high surface to sit. Avoid indian washrooms, use western one ( comod) and avoid stairs ( use lifts or escalators wherever available)
