I've ran a startup which has taken 60 hours per week for 1.5 years. I've gone into 15 thousand dollars of debt as a student to pay programmers to build my app. 8000 of that money was completely wasted as due to either organizational or communication difficulties as far as communicating the design of the product, it failed.
