Implant to treat wrong RCT
To treat a wrong RCT , implant is suggested to me. Kindly inform me about its pros and cons.
And my one query - does the material used in implant interfere in MRI/CT Scan type tests?

Pros of Implants
Dental Implants simulate the principles of nature when replacing a failing tooth.
They are highly Bio-Compatible and remain passive and strongly anchored as a part of the bone for a long period of time.
In terms of Bite Pressure they provide complete pressure required for masticating and crushing the food.
They are esthetic too and simulate the form and colour of the natural tooth.
Cons of Implants
Impalnts can sometimes fail.
However the failed Implants can also be retrieved and replaced.
Their is little scattering of image around dental Implants during MRI but it is insignificant.

Implant is indicated when ever you are going to loose tooth for any reason. It is a safe process if proper protocol is followed.
Implants do not interfere with mri/ ct scan
