Implant for smoker
One of my tooth in lower jaw is broken.Dentist suggested for implant but im smoking from last 7 years !! Teeth next to the broken tooth is also damaged ,rct has been advised for it!! Dentist doesnt know about my smoking since i go with family member and cannot reveal that and he is a family dentist! If implant wont be successfull what other options do i have?? Can i just leave the tooth extracted and leave it open?? Bridge wont be helpful aince adjacent teethnia not in a condition to support it!! I m try to get over my habit but it wont happen soon!!

Go ahead with implant.. smoking is not a contraindication.. but for longevity of treatment try to quit the habit in near future..
