I m using betnovate c past one month for dark spots and pimples ...can I continue or stop....it's ll causes any side effects after stopping

STOP STOP STOP. betnovate C is not for dark spots and pimples. please visit a qualified certified dermatologist. do not self medicate or see some unqualified local doctor for your skin problems. The severity of acne dictates the choice of treatment. In the early grades of acne even the cream might suffice however in moderate to higher grades tablets also need to be taken. The treatment has to be continued for a few months otherwise the pimples would tend to return easily. Kindly do not self medicate without professional advice as that could further damage your skin. Get an online consult privately with pictures or meet a dermatologist directly for a proper evaluation of the condition. Hope this was helpful.

Please stop using betnovate cream as it contains strong steroids which will cause serious side effects. Steroid induced pimples, photosensitivity that is sun sensitivity, rosacea that is red face, atrophy that is skin thinning, stretch marks, pigmentation, dryness, severe itching and hair growth on the face etc to name a few side effects. Reports of skin cancer are also there. Please don't use any such Steroid containing fairness creams. You will require treatment to slowly put you off this cream by using some substitute as the skin becomes addicted to the steroid. Hence you are facing such a problem.
