I think I have anal warts.
Hi Doctor, I think i noticed anal warts around my circumference half a month ago. The physical symptoms are not severe, but the condition is causing ongoing mental stress and discomfort, and I want to address it properly before it gets worse. I'd like to know: What is the most effective treatment option at this stage since it's been recently noticed? How long does treatment usually take, and what outcomes should I expect? What steps can I take to reduce the chances of recurrence?

Heya young man... I ✍️ in albeit late, because your predicament may be shared by others. Firstly, Anal Warts need to be diagnosed by a Qualified Doc...I am not too certain yours has... Reason being other STD's like Syphilis have to be ruled out and appear similar to the untrained 👁️ To delve further, a more detailed history will be required especially your personal and sexual history. This will not only help in diagnosis but in tracing contacts and elimination of the infection spread cycle. Treatment can be instantaneous to a week or so depending on modalities used. This will depend on your particular situation and your Doctor. Going forward, to reduce chances of recurrence please practice Safe Sex (use a condom) and exercise barrier protection when using outdoor toilets set (disposable potty sheets available). An Online Consultation with me works should you wish to take this further and according to your region will suggest the best doc to intervene. I'm Banglore based and can be found on this site and other online sites like Apollo 24/7 etc and welcome anytime 🙏
