It needs proper assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Is there any numbness or tingling sensation too?is there any swelling? Pain aggravates at night?.. It can be due to carpal tunnel syndrome, which requires Physiotherapy initially for conservative treatment but in severe and chronic cases surgery is required. You can go for NCV test for your wrist.

Hello. Wrist pain of 7year duration in a young adult needs proper assessment and investigations. Did you ever have trauma to the wrist? If not, this could be due to other problems with wrist and hand biomechanics.
Next Steps
Please see a hand specialist/ orthopaedic surgeon. Sooner rather than later.
