Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
You have taken a higher dose of sertraline (around 300 mg) along with propranolol, which can sometimes lead to side effects such as tongue stiffness, fatigue, low pulse, or confusion. Even if more than a day has passed, it is important to visit a nearby emergency department or physician for a physical check-up, ECG, and routine tests to ensure your safety.
Please do not take further doses of any medication until a doctor reviews your current condition.
In the future, avoid changing or combining psychiatric medicines on your own. If the overdose happened accidentally or due to distress, kindly discuss this with your psychiatrist — help and safe treatment adjustments are always available
Hi.. as 30 hours have passed and you are asymptomatic no problem. Usually you can get dizziness, syncope, drowsiness etc. i advise you to inform this to your family members and visit a psychiatrist and get evaluated.
