I doubt I have Bipolar disorder
I m very moody at times. Sometimes I feel so confident that people start calling me overconfident and on the other hand sometimes I feel so underconfident that I my heart beat rises and I feel very anxious. I have many anger management issues. I frequently fight with everyone and suddenly I start being at good terms with everyone too. I had left my home last year for a week because I felt so depressed staying in the same room whole day and I love being in my room whole day at times. My grandfather and uncles too have bipolar disorder and since its genetic I doubt I have it too because I don't understand why I behave the way I do at times.

There is a possibility of bipolar disorder given your own and family history but it can be diagnosed only after careful detailed evaluation. Please consult a psychiatrist for a proper assessment and treatment planning.

You must consult a psychiatrist about this. Since you already have a strong family history, detailed evaluation is necessary to reach a diagnosis. And if you do have the disorder, treatment should be initiated as early as possible.

Hi, Bipolar has heritability of 60-70 percent. Research has shown that first degree relatives can have traits of depression ( unipolar) or Bipolar more vulnerable for mood disorders than schizophrenia. Need experienced psychiatrist to give diagnosis as once ur diagnosed bipolar treatment path is different.
