I am having depression and about 5 months before i had taken anti depression tablets. Everytime when i try to sleep i can't sleep and when i sleep i can't move and feels like i am drowning and can't move even my fingers. I don't have any history of something bad which will make me like this. Whenever I think about something which is important to me all the negative thoughts will come up and my heart beats so fast. And i have so many habits like directions countings etc. Please suggest me a light anti depression which i can take.

Hello practo user
I can understand your concerns regarding your overall health and well being . Sleep gets disturbed due to various reasons and stressors around us . It seems that there is some underlying negative event which is causing these distressing symptoms. For better sleep hygiene you can practice these -- try and avoid having a heavy meal or caffeine at night , take a warm shower , have a cup of warm milk or relaxing tea , avoid using your phone / laptop till late , try and talk to close family members or friends , practice deep breathing and meditation . You can also try and go for regular exercise which will be beneficial . It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for further evaluation and a treatment program . You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.

Hi
It's high time you should consult immediately. Everyday of suffering a world of Advance medicine is not acceptable. Definitely you will come out of this.
You asked for light antidepressants here we go T. Mirtaz 7.5 mg for 4 days at night and then 15 mg to continue. It's for all your symptoms.
But I feel if you can share detail about your issues , we can help you better. And definitely you will come out of this depression. If it's a Bipolar depression you need a mood stabilizer than antidepressants. If it's organic depression you need correction of underlying pathology. For adjustment disorder n anxiety , I consider psychotherapy as first line.

we are happy to help you. hope you will come back with all symptom clarification for rationalization of your treatment.
