I am 15 years old. I used to hold stool frequently for years and since 2023 I have had severe bowel problems like incomplete emptying, watery leakage, bad smell, weak urge sensation, and difficulty passing stool normally. I have tried home remedies like drinking more water, walking after meals, toilet routine but I still have significant symptoms. I want to know what treatment or tests may help further and whether this could be megarectum, encopresis, or pelvic floor dysfunction.

Better not to hold your stool for long time afterwards and mainly focus on your diet habits and do some exercise. Don’t drink to much water if body demands then only you can drink , don’t walk immediately after meal take some time then walk if the problem continues consult to physician or contact via practo
