I was tested for hypothyriod TSH shown 8.70, at hope clinic they prescribed medicine and told me to start taking medicine. I went for second and third opinion in Neigrihms and pastuer they told me since i dont hvae any of the symptoms they asked am told not to take any medicine yet. But to repeat the test after 3 months. Please tell me what should i do.

Protocol is different in different places. Generally if not symptomatic, no need to start thyroxine at levels below 8. Yours is borderline at that. However if you have symptoms or your partner and you are planning pregnancy, start throxine.
U should repeat the test immediately with also free t3 and t4. Bcz in 3months u may get symptoms ..so dont wait.
