Hi, in thyroid, weight loss is slow and gain is quick. So you have to balance your meals so that you can lose & maintain weight. You need high fibre, low fat and carbohydrate and high protein diet essentially for weight loss. Never skip your breakfast, as it’s the most important part of your diet. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hours and regular exercise / brisk walk for 30 -45 min. Include protein rich foods in your diet like milk, yogurt, cheese, soybean, broccoli, sprouts and other dairy products (Vegetarian) and egg, chicken, fish (non-vegetarian). Increase the consumption of fruits, vegetables and salad in your diet as it contains fibres and vitamins.
