My mother has hypertension and diabetes. She takes ramipril 1.5 every morning. Today evening suddenly her pressure raised to 179/100. She took another dose of ramipril 1.5. now her pressure is 156/93. Is this a cause of concern? Please suggest some solution

BP of 179/100 is something to be concerned about and sudden increase suggest about impending risk so better to consult with your treating physician or cardiologist. Avoid taking multiple dose if the BP increases better to take rest for 15 mins and then repeat Bp if it comes still high consult with the physician.
