Hypertension
I am 34 yr old female with 78kg of weight. We recently noticed my BP levels are shooted up high say 140/115. Initially I thought it could've been because of stress as I was undergoing ankle surgery as I was under great surgery fear. later we got the bp meter and started monitoring daily basis, this is how the readings look like since last week: Sat: 162/109 heartbeat:110 Sun: 125/104  hb:117 Mon: 134/96   hb: 99 Tue: 134/106  hb:105 Wed: 127/101 hb: 100 And now it's almost 12 days past since my surgery and am not feeling that good but definitely not in fear.. Looking at the readings it shows high have high BP. My question is 1. Is high BP curable in my condition? 2. Should is start medications and continue life long? 3. Will changing my lifestyle reduce my BP naturally and avoid lifetime medications? 4. Will reducing weight, get my BP into normal and avoid lifetime medications? Kindly suggest.
