Hello .. I m currently under acne treatment.. along with hair fall treatment n vitamin B12 deficiency of less than 83.. so doctor suggested me to take vitcofol c injection twice a week.. but I can see visible pigmentation around my mouth .. why this happened?? Are there any side effects of these medications?? Whether the pigmentation lasts long or it will go ? Plz suggest

Addisonian pigmentation is seen in vitamin B12 deficiency which leads to darkening of skin, likely due to increased melanin synthesis. Correction of b12 by injections can reduce pigmentation to some extent.
