Your high blood sugar can occur due to these medications particularly risperidone but that's not the only cause. If you are predisposed to Diabetes because of your family history or lifestyle these medications will increase the risk. So lifestyle changes along with reduction in dose will do
Next Steps
maintain a balanced diet along with exercise schedule

Hi, a few psychotropic drugs are prone to cause certain metabolic changes in the body. For more clarity on your issue you should consult with a Psychiatrist with a fasting blood sugar level and HbA1c report.
First thing first
fasting sugar 80-110 is normal.
If you are maintained on these doses,do not reduce it by yourself,do consult psychiatrist to taper it slowly if everything is going well.
