Hyper pigmentation
Hello. I am 26 female. I am having hyper pigmentation on and around vagina and between thighs. It is awkward for me. There is no itching in those areas. I have consulted a dermatologist near my home, she told it is common and it cannot be lightened. Please tel me a treatment to lighten that area.

Greetings. What you are talking about is indeed common. So yes - pls dont worry about it. It may be normal for the genitals of both men and women and surrounding areas too - to be a little darkly pigmented than other areas of the skin. This has evlutionary importance and can even be noticed in animals. It may not be advisable to use skin lightening creams in those areas . Do not worry. Take care. Warm regards.
