Doctor has prescribed me hrct thorax for my productive cough which usually off and comes after some month again and again. Is it normal ct scan machine or other machine is required for Thai test pls answer

It is sone in normal CT scan machine. HRCT means high resolution Computed Tomography.
Picture quality will be enhanced to see minute and subtle details which may not be visible in plain CT.
