Use of antibiotics depends on condition of wound.. but still its better to get grafting if it's already been 6 months but in case you have shortage of money .. get dressing every 2-3 days and wait it will take time. Antibiotics will be required only if active infection noticed by doctor during followup

At this point you may have developed resistance to this medication. And the wound looks like it’s covered by granulation tissue. Since it’s been 6months you’ll need a plastic surgeon for covering the area with a graft/ flap( decided purely on the basis of the area and vascularity).
Next Steps
Kindly consult your attending doctor for the antibiotics renewal/ further management

Duration of antibiotics depends on Duration of your injury, type of treatment and current clinical evaluation. Better you take a second opinion from a physician locally.

Someone is making a lot of money at your cost. Farowell is a strong antibiotic . It is never used for more than a week or 10 days. If it is not working, the antibiotic should be changed. By taking it for six months you have ensured that if you really develop a serious infection in future the Doctor will have to work hard to find an appropriate antibiotic. Please stop it now.

Hello According to your history, continuing an antibiotic for 6 months does not offer any added benefits instead causes resistance. Pepper wound cleaning and dressing with topical medical application is the key.

Hello Sir, Antibiotics are not meant to be taken continuously for 6 months, as this can cause resistance and side effects. Your wound now needs proper dressing, care, and monitoring rather than long-term antibiotics, unless advised for a specific infection. I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can stay in follow-up with me until this problem is completely resolved.
