Home sick & not open to come out of home
My mother is 58 YO now.She has health issues w.r.t her bones being weak & she can't walk as easily as others do.She suffers from knee pain n back pain Due to this she stays at home most of the time and now she under homeopathic treatment for the same.Fortunately her condition has improved. However I have observed her mental health is not good. She has home sick being at home & she disagrees to come anywhere out.She gets irritated and emotional for every small thing that happens at home or even by a very casual discussions at home.I have observed her feeling pity for self as to her health has taken off her happiness which infact is not true because other than bone weakness she has no other health issues not even BP/diabetes at this age.Whatever is said to her,she tries to take out negative out of it.Anyone says her with good intentions she brings out negativity from it.I wanna take her for counseling but I'm sure she will start thinking that her children are taking her to be mentally sick

I appreciate your initiative and concern. Also your observations... Instead of highlighting her issues, encouraging her to share her feelings and and emotions to a professional. Probably, she might agree to that.
Next Steps
Perhaps, you could schedule an appointment with psychologist in your city.
