Hiv transmission
Recently i saw a discarded needle in my society in the parking lot. It must have been there for a while but assuming my scenario i saw it for 5 mins.(cos i was on a call and i was noticing it) I picked the needle by its plastic bit or precisely needle shaft or a hub and threw it. Then i sanitised my hand for few seconds and not as much as i should because there was little sanitizer, then i accidental rubbed my eyes with the same finger that i used to pick that needle. Will this be considered as an exposure to hiv hcv virus. Is it the way it can be transmitted. Will be great if an hiv specialist or a venerologist can help?
