HIV duo test at 38 days
Respected Doctors, please answer I had no exposure. 1 month ago my blood sample was collected at home and pheblotomist  had not changed needle in front of me. So I think she has used infected needle. It's just my assumption only. So today at 38 days I have done HIV duo test and result is Non reactive. My Questions 1. Whatever I'm thinking is actually real thing or not ?  like infection through used needle. 2. I'm taking tablet Lonazep .5 mg. Have this tablet affected my results. 3. Do I need to retest at 45 days again.

Answers for ur questions 1) yes thing is real infected needle have potential to transmit some infectious diseases HIV is one of them ..but these days syringe and needles are very cheap of cost and no one are using the same infected syringe 2) no medication can affect the hiv screening test 3) regarding to your history there is no need to repeat the test and after 28days hiv duo test is 95% accurate and regarding ur exposure it's very highly unlikely to get infected by blood drawn for a lab test ...don't get panicked
Next Steps
even still it makes u restlessness.. repeat test after 30days...it will be negative..relax

Lonazep will not affect results. Right now there is nothing to worry,  but to clear your doubt, get tested again after 45  and then 90 days. In future,  be careful while taking any prick.

Lonazep doesn't alternate result. You don't need to retest after one month.
