Higher Rubella Antibody IGC value
I am writing this on behalf of my wife who is pregnant for 8 weeks 5 days. Recently some routine blood tests were done as prescribed by the consulting gynaecologist. We got some of the reports, some are awaiting. All the reports are fine except one i.e Rubella Antibody IgG Serum(CLIA) whose value is 127.00 IU/mL where the normal range should be less than 7.00. We are very much worried about this. My wife has got no complications as of now and in complete good health. Should we go for re-test? Can it effect our baby?

Rubella IgG means that your wife is immune to Rubella ,that means she will not catch this infection. Nothing to worry.
