Hello. Firstly we need to know why you got Serum IgE done. If for any skin problem it needs to be assessed by a dermatologist. Because whether this level matters or not will depend on cause. Raised serum IgE suggests some sort of allergy. However if levels are more than 4-5 times normal it may need further evaluation and treatment. Only Serum IgE is a nonspecific marker.
