  4. High Hs-CRP. Lead to high levels?

I am an active working professional. A mother of 3.5 yr old. A recent master health check up indicated high CRP level. What could be the cause? Does skin infection lead to high levels? I have been suffering from ringworm infection for long. Also, the diabetes that showed up during pregnancy has never reversed. Fasting sugar is at 269.
