Runny nose, headache, sore throat, loss of appetite, and weakness lasting 3–4 days is a classic picture of a viral upper respiratory infection (common cold or flu). Paracetamol helps reduce fever and body ache but does not shorten the illness itself — viral infections typically last 5–7 days. Staying hydrated, resting, and warm salt water gargles for throat pain are helpful at this stage.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — if fever crosses 102°F, persists beyond 5 days, or you develop chest pain or breathing difficulty, please see a doctor in person urgently.

Hi, Paracetamol may give only partial relief. It usually improves in a few more days. If fever rises or symptoms worsen, consult. Feel free to consult for further guidance.👍
